Maintenance Operations Technician Location:
Stratford, Connecticut Pay:
$40.00•$45.00 per hour
Shifts Available:
Morning Shift:
3:30 AM•1:00
PM Afternoon Shift:
1:00 PM•9:30 PM Join a Growing Premium Food Manufacturing Company We're seeking a Maintenance Operations Technician to join our team at a rapidly growing specialty food manufacturer known for producing premium products with a strong commitment to quality, food safety, and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to work for an expanding organization that invests in its people, equipment, and facilities. You'll play a critical role in keeping production running efficiently while working alongside a team that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with electrical maintenance is highly preferred Knowledge of PLCs, low-voltage controls, and industrial equipment is a plus Welding experience is a plus Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and facility equipment Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions Support production line startups and operational readiness Repair and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, belts, fans, and related equipment Order and manage maintenance parts and inventory as needed Ensure all work is completed in accordance with OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards Identify and address unsafe conditions to promote a safe workplace Assist with equipment upgrades, facility projects, and continuous improvement initiatives Support emergency repair situations when required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
