Apartment Maintenance Technician for Brand New Apartment Rental Complex in Tolland, CT

• Fieldstone Ridge built and managed by Santini Homes .

There are currently 44 completed units in Fieldstone Ridge with 196 more being completed over the next 3 years. This is a full-time position with 5 days (7 am to 4 pm), 42-1/2 hours per week plus some Saturdays (7 AM to Noon) throughout the year. Skills include light plumbing & electrical repairs, light carpentry skills, painting, well-conditioned and focused to put in a good day's work, reliability/be at work every day, and other skills related to property maintenance. It's important to reside within 20 minutes of Tolland (which is located right off exit 68/UConn-Storrs exit). This is our first hire for our eventual 3-person(approx) Maintenance Team once the construction is fully completed in 2029. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the property, focus, work hard, potentially be a maintenance supervisor , do a quality job, work in an organized and professional environment in a well-managed environment. We provide stability, but we have expectations of all our staff to put in a good day's work, continue to improve and get better every day. Including $28

• 32 per hour+
• (depending on experience, knowledge, and skill set), regular overtime, vacation time, holiday bonus, and on call compensation, opportunities for more hours, plus 401k contribution, full dental, health (HSA), full vision insurance, and life insurance.

We're able to avoid laying off workers, there is always work to do for the full year. Job includes service calls/maintenance work, preventative maintenance, turnover painting, 24/7 on call approximately 7 to 9 weeks out of the year (which includes for our sister property in Vernon

• for additional $250 per week plus overtime for service call time spent
• average 1 to 2 calls per week), and snow cleaning. Potential for lead technician will be based on growth, knowledge, commitment, focus, and work ethic. Since the property has only 44 units completed at this time, this position would include work on the construction side for Fieldstone Ridge (with our construction staff) along with work at our Vernon Apartment Complexes
• Santini Villa Apartments and The Grand Lofts which are less than 10 minutes from Fieldstone Ridge.
