Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains and repairs various hotel systems, ensuring all equipment functions optimally. Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to minimize breakdowns and extend asset life. Diagnoses and resolves issues with HVAC Systems. Addresses plumbing concerns, ensuring water systems are fully operational. Troubleshoots and repairs Electrical Systems, including lighting, outlets, and circuit issues safely. Executes general repairs across the property. Manages overall building maintenance, ensuring the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the hotel. Responds promptly to Guest Service requests, resolving maintenance issues efficiently and courteously Utilizes Work Order Systems to track tasks, document repairs, and manage inventory effectively. Adheres strictly to all Safety Procedures, promoting a secure environment for guests and staff alike. Collaborates with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize guest disruption. Identifies and reports larger maintenance needs or potential hazards to management. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Stands, walks, bends, kneels, climbs ladders, and reaches for extended periods. Works in various environmental conditions, including hot, cold, noisy, and dusty areas. Operates hand and power tools safely and effectively. Works flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; protect company assets. Anticipate and address guests' service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
