The primary role of this position is to maintain our equipment and facilities to ensure 100% uptime in production and a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment. Electrical, plumbing, and good computer skills are a plus. This position requires a person who can lead a project from start to finish with urgency, control costs to maintain a budget, ensure preventative maintenance, and prioritize projects based on the operational health of production. Safety is paramount and the ideal candidate should understand OSHA General Industry regulations. Responsibilities Inspect the equipment and facility periodically to identify issues, triage projects, and plan and perform any necessary maintenance. Prepare weekly maintenance schedules. Participate in a weekly meeting to report, plan and schedule projects. Train associates on preventative maintenance of production equipment as required. Supervise subcontractors during installations, repairs or maintenance on equipment and/or the facility. Inspect and maintain building HVAC systems. Monitor inventory of materials, equipment and parts. Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Skills Experience as maintenance technician or similar role. Strong technical knowledge of building systems - electrical, heating, plumbing, etc. Welding (MIG) certification a plus. Knowledge and experience maintaining conveyor belts systems and robotic production machinery a plus. Knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations. Understanding of budgets and time management. Excellent planning and leadership abilities. Attention to detail. Good computer skills. Knowledge of controllers a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
