This is a great position for someone who enjoys fixing things, staying busy, and taking pride in keeping a property looking and operating its best. This is a hands-on, general maintenance/handyman position . You don't need to be an expert in everything—we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, has a strong work ethic, and can handle the everyday repairs and maintenance needs of a busy hotel. What You'll Do Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Painting and touch-up work Patching and repairing walls Changing light bulbs and basic lighting maintenance Cleaning and maintaining PTAC units (training provided) Basic plumbing repairs, including clearing and maintaining drains Pool maintenance and routine pool upkeep Replacing or repairing basic fixtures and hardware Assisting with guest room and public area repairs Preventative maintenance throughout the hotel Responding to maintenance requests and addressing issues in a timely manner Keeping the property, equipment, and work areas clean and well maintained Assisting with other projects and general handyman work as needed What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and a willingness to get the job done Reliable and dependable Reliable transportation to and from work Presentable and professional appearance Able to work independently while also being part of a team Comfortable being on your feet and performing physical, hands-on work throughout the day Able to lift, carry, bend, reach, climb, and perform general physical maintenance tasks Good problem-solving skills and common sense Willing to learn new skills and systems Comfortable working around guests and maintaining a professional attitude Previous hotel maintenance, facilities, construction, handyman, or similar experience is a plus Why Join Us?
