Job Description

Industrial Electrical Maintenance Mechanic Waterbury, CT | Full-Time | Up to $38/hour An established manufacturing company in Waterbury, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Mechanic to join its maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and wants a stable, long-term position in a busy manufacturing environment. The Electrical Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for keeping production and manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently , responding to machine breakdowns, diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems, completing repairs, and performing preventive maintenance. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment Diagnose machine breakdowns and production equipment failures Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and scheduled equipment maintenance Troubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, control circuits, and electrical components Work with PLCs and automated manufacturing equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals Repair and maintain machinery used in a high-volume manufacturing environment Identify equipment problems quickly to help minimize production downtime Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment What We're Looking For Candidates should have hands-on industrial maintenance experience with a strong background in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair . Experience working with PLCs, automated machinery, motors, controls, preventive maintenance, and manufacturing equipment is highly desirable. This position is ideal for a dependable, mechanically inclined professional who can troubleshoot problems, work independently, and take pride in keeping equipment running.
