Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician to support our automated electroplating operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding a variety of pumps, small electric motors, and other equipment utilized throughout our automated plating lines. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently, prioritize maintenance activities based on production requirements, and respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilding of pumps, motors, and related Selective plating line equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing-related equipment issues. Respond rapidly to equipment failures and production downtime events. Develop and maintain and implement preventive maintenance schedules for Selective plating line equipment. Prioritize maintenance activities based on production schedules and operational requirements. Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions. Maintain spare parts inventories and ensure critical replacement parts are available. Create and maintain maintenance records, repair reports, and equipment histories. Coordinate maintenance activities with production personnel to minimize operational disruptions. Assist with installation, modification, and commissioning of equipment as needed. Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures and environmental regulations. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and operating efficiency. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within electroplating, metal finishing, chemical processing, or similar industrial operations. Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding: Centrifugal pumps Chemical process pumps Small electric motors Basic knowledge of electrical systems and motor controls. Basic plumbing and piping experience, including PVC and chemical process piping systems. Ability to read and understand technical manuals, equipment drawings, and schematics. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear reports and updates to management. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an electroplating or metal finishing facility. Knowledge of automated plating line equipment and systems. Familiarity with inventory control and spare parts management. Understanding preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Forklift and/or industrial equipment experience is a plus. Computer Skills Proficient with Microsoft Windows. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) a plus. Experience with NetSuite software a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in an industrial environment. Ability to work around chemical processing equipment while following all safety procedures. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work Schedule This is primarily a first-shift position, typically working standard daytime hours. Due to the critical nature of production equipment, the successful candidate must be willing to be on-calland respond to occasional off-shift equipment failures or maintenance emergencies as needed. Flexibility to work overtime and adjust schedules to support production requirements is preferred.

Pay:

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
