Job Description
Join a dedicated Facilities Maintenance team committed to ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained facilities year-round. As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, coordinating maintenance activities, and assisting with facility improvement projects. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with growth and development opportunities, while making a direct impact on the upkeep and functionality of company assets. Responsibilities Coordinate, schedule, and track maintenance, repairs, and facility projects using maintenance management software (EMaint). Monitor and manage vehicle and trailer registrations through fleet maintenance software (Samsara). Track landscaping and maintenance fleet costs, and code invoices for financial processing. Conduct weekly grounds inspections to identify and report maintenance or safety issues. Assist the Facilities Maintenance Manager in planning and executing facility renovations and improvement projects. Maintain records and schedules for preventive maintenance of small equipment and assets. Perform daily checks on infrastructure for repair and maintenance needs. Carry out other related duties as assigned to support the Facilities Maintenance Department. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of on-the-job training. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Sheets. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal and external customers. Basic knowledge of garden center, buildings, plant nursery, and grounds facilities maintenance. Familiarity with company products, services, and customer-related policies. Ability to stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb, kneel, and pull for prolonged periods. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and operate power equipment as needed. Comfort working in various weather conditions and performing repetitive movements. Team player with the ability to work independently, multi-task, and maintain attention to detail. Reliable attendance and ability to follow directions efficiently and thoroughly. Valid Drivers License required. Must be 18 years of age or older.
