In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of residential apartment communities. Your expertise will ensure that residents enjoy a comfortable living environment by performing timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and building interior upkeep. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical skills while providing exceptional customer service to residents and team members alike. EPA Universal Certification Required. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and facilities equipment using schematics, hand tools, and specialized testing devices such as ohmmeters. Conduct carpentry tasks including drywall repair, door adjustments, and maintenance painting to uphold the building's appearance. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automated systems when applicable. Lead small teams or supervise maintenance projects, demonstrating leadership and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance activities in compliance with operational standards. Respond promptly to resident requests for repairs or maintenance issues with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction. Skills Extensive mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and building interior maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools, electrical equipment repair, schematics interpretation, and facilities maintenance procedures. Knowledge of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), including the use of schematics and technical manuals. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for electrical troubleshooting. Strong carpentry skills along with experience in residential painting and general facilities upkeep. Excellent communication skills in English to interact clearly with residents and team members. Supervising experience combined with leadership qualities to guide junior staff or oversee maintenance projects effectively. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
