Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment. This role will be critical in minimizing downtime, optimizing productivity, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial machinery and equipment, including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly. Conduct preventive maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures and ensure peak performance. Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels. Comply with safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred. Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions efficiently. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and reliability-centered maintenance principles. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
