OVERVIEW
Boca West Country Club is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Specialist to join our Engineering Department. The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the club's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our members and staff.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues efficiently. Diagnoses and troubleshoot equipment and facility problems, implementing solutions to minimize downtime. Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of fixtures, appliances, and building components. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and parts inventory. Follow safety protocols and ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments to support special events and facility upgrades. Ensure the maintenance area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.COMPETENCIES
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
TRAINING
No High school diploma or equivalency. Driver's License (Required) Proven experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related fields. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to respond to emergency repairs outside of regular hours as needed. Valid driver's license and relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing licenses) preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
