Maintenance Technician for Bradenton Beach

REPORTS TO

Chief Engineer This position requires reliable access to a personal vehicle that can be used for work-related travel. In addition to the position's hourly rate, employees will receive a $150 weekly vehicle/mileage stipend to help offset work-related transportation expenses, as well as a $30 monthly cell phone stipend for business-related cell phone use. Combined, these stipends provide an additional $8,160 in annual compensation on top of the position's hourly earnings. Maintenance Technicians operate on-site at Vunique Vacations' vacation rental homes ("in the field") and are responsible for the general maintenance, care, and upkeep of assigned properties, with responsibilities assigned based on experience and skill level. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Property Care

• Complete general maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and special projects as assigned.
• Perform routine property inspections and identify maintenance issues, damages, or deficiencies.
• Address maintenance needs promptly and professionally to ensure homes meet company standards.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving common property issues including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general repairs within skill level. Work Orders & Documentation
• Utilize Breezeway to receive, complete, and document work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide clear, detailed notes and photos documenting work performed, findings, and follow-up needs.
• Communicate status updates or unresolved issues to the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Leadership as needed. Systems & Technology
• Utilize PointCentral to manage and troubleshoot smart home systems, including thermostats and electronic lock systems.
• Follow established procedures for access control, code management, and smart device usage. Guest-Facing & Professional Standards
• Interact with guests, homeowners, and team members in a professional, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Be mindful of guest privacy, noise, cleanliness, and safety while working in occupied homes.
• Represent Vunique Vacations positively at all times while in the field. Scheduling, Weekend & Holiday Availability
• Maintain availability to work scheduled weekend shifts based on operational needs; weekend availability is a requirement of this position.
• Work holidays as needed based on business demand. Storm Response
• Assist with storm preparation and post-storm response efforts in accordance with company protocols.
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling during emergency or weather-related events. Tools, Vehicles & Safety
• Properly use and care for company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in homes, vehicles, and storage areas.
