Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining sparkling, safe, and inviting swimming environments. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing routine pool maintenance, cleaning, and equipment repairs to ensure optimal operation and safety standards. Your expertise will help create enjoyable aquatic experiences for our clients while showcasing your mechanical skills and passion for maintenance. Responsibilities Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and water balancing to maintain cleanliness and clarity. Perform routine pool equipment inspections and troubleshoot issues related to pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators. Use hand tools and power tools to repair or replace faulty equipment efficiently and safely. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and water quality tests for compliance and quality assurance. Assist with opening and closing pools according to established safety procedures and schedules. Identify potential mechanical problems early and escalate complex repairs to service technicians or specialists. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities to protect yourself and others. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues with pool equipment quickly. Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or as a service technician is highly desirable. Proficiency in pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, chemical balancing, and cleaning techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools necessary for repairs and routine upkeep. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
