Job Description

Job Overview We are immediately hiring a dedicated and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! This vital role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of residential apartment communities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running with the necessary tools in hand. Duties Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building interior systems, including plumbing, electrical equipment, HVAC units, and facilities equipment. Perform repairs on plumbing systems, electrical wiring, HVAC systems, and building fixtures using hand tools and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately and efficiently. Complete carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, cabinets, drywall, and painting to maintain aesthetic standards. Operate welding equipment when necessary for structural repairs or modifications. Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper procedures during all repair activities. Assist with supervising maintenance projects and lead small teams when required to ensure timely completion. Requirements Proven experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) within residential or commercial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, and schematics reading skills. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and electrical work. Ability to perform welding tasks safely and effectively when needed. Knowledge of building interior maintenance including painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and electrical troubleshooting. Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer service interactions. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
