Apartment Maintenance Technician - $18-$20/hr. + $500 Sign-On Bonus Brooksville, FL | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Winterwood, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Brooksville, FL. This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining the property, completing work orders, preparing vacant apartments, and ensuring the community is safe, clean, and well-maintained.

$18-$20 per hour , based on experience $500 Sign-On Bonus $100/month cell phone reimbursement Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM schedule 401(k) plan with company matching Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Paid time off, sick leave, and holiday pay Employee referral program Opportunities for advancement What We're Looking For Previous maintenance experience required; apartment/property maintenance experience preferred Working knowledge of general maintenance, including carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC systems Basic computer skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check What You'll Do Complete maintenance work orders promptly and efficiently Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including repairs, painting, cleaning, and other make-ready work Perform general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and building systems Inspect and maintain assigned buildings and property systems Complete preventative maintenance, including furnace filter replacements and unit inspections Assist with coordinating outside contractors and vendors Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies Inspect property grounds and identify needed repairs Provide emergency maintenance services as required Complete daily property upkeep, including trash pickup Document inspections and maintenance activities Notify the Property Manager of unusual conditions, damages, or other concerns Assist with special projects and other maintenance duties as assigned Join Winterwood Winterwood, Inc. is a growing, family-owned property management company with more than 40 years of experience in the industry.
