• 11:00 PM Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on facility needs Candidates must be able to work both shifts.

What You'll Do As a Floor Technician, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities include:

Clean, maintain, and restore flooring throughout the facility Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed Operate floor care equipment safely and properly Perform routine carpet cleaning and extraction as assigned Clean hallways, common areas, resident areas, and other assigned spaces Remove scuff marks, stains, and buildup from flooring Follow established cleaning schedules and floor maintenance procedures Properly use and store cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment Follow infection prevention and safety procedures Maintain floor equipment and report needed repairs Place appropriate safety signage when floors are wet or being serviced Assist the Environmental Services team with additional housekeeping duties as needed What We're Looking For Previous floor care or Floor Technician experience preferred Healthcare, Skilled Nursing, hospital, commercial cleaning, or environmental services experience is a plus Experience operating floor scrubbers, buffers, and other floor-care equipment preferred Knowledge of stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining various flooring surfaces preferred Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position throughout the shift Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Must be available to work both 7:00 AM-3:00 PM and 3:00 PM-11:00 PM shifts Join Our Team At Brooksville Health Care Center, maintaining a clean and safe facility is an important part of providing exceptional resident care.
