Facilities / Building Operations Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Building Maintenance Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and overall appearance of a commercial facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the building remains safe, functional, and well-maintained through preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and prompt response to facility-related issues. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, safety-conscious, and experienced in maintaining commercial building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical equipment, and general construction. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility, including common areas and interior spaces. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve facility and equipment issues efficiently. Conduct daily inspections of the building, including roof areas, identifying maintenance needs and communicating larger repairs to management. Perform painting, patching, carpentry, and general building upkeep as needed. Maintain commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and related equipment. Assist with plumbing, electrical, roofing, mechanical systems, pumps, motors, and building infrastructure repairs. Monitor and maintain life safety systems, including fire panels, sprinklers, elevators, and related equipment. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance. Support building events by setting up furniture and equipment. Maintain outdoor areas, including parking lots, landscaping, irrigation systems, and general property appearance. Perform pressure washing and general cleaning as required. Run business-related errands supporting facility operations. Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and inspection records. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary. Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency, reliability, and overall building performance. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or
GED. 3-5
years of commercial or residential building maintenance experience. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Conversational English required. Experience using hand and power tools safely. Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong communication and customer service skills. Technical Experience Candidates should have hands-on experience in several of the following areas: Commercial HVAC systems Chillers and cooling towers Chiller and cooling tower software Plumbing repairs Electrical maintenance Construction and general carpentry Painting and drywall repairs Roofing maintenance Pumps and mechanical systems Building life safety systems (fire panels, sprinklers, elevators) Preventive maintenance programs Vendor coordination and annual building inspections At ttg, "We believe in making a difference One Person at a Time," ttg OPT. #IND3
