Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems throughout the hotel. Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure optimal performance. Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical panels, and building interior fixtures to guarantee safety and efficiency. Conduct welding and mechanical repairs as needed to address equipment failures or structural issues. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for repairs, installations, or upgrades in various hotel areas. Supervise maintenance projects when necessary, providing leadership and guidance to junior team members or contractors. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; interpret schematics for complex troubleshooting. Support customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests to resolve issues efficiently. Assist with building interior maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry repairs, or facility upgrades to enhance the hotel's appearance. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance with strong mechanical knowledge across electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and building interior upkeep. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical equipment repair, and maintenance painting techniques. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters with precision. Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair along with experience in HVAC system troubleshooting and repair. Supervising experience or leadership skills are preferred; capable of guiding team members during maintenance projects. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to interpret technical schematics effectively. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
