ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Expected to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a safe manner and according to the standard set by B & W.
• Travel to farm locations daily to grease equipment and top off fluids on all equipment not currently in use.
• Inspect all assets/equipment for mechanical or safety concerns affecting the equipment or operators.
• Check, adjust, and replace belts on equipment and vehicles as needed.
• Perform minor repairs including, but not limited to: batteries lights wiper blades tires other basic maintenance items
• Retrieve equipment/assets from field locations and transport them to the shop for repairs when necessary.
• Assist shop mechanics with tasks requiring additional support.
• Report detailed findings from field inspections to the shop, including equipment requiring additional mechanical evaluation, repairs, or parts.
• Accurately, log labor time, equipment numbers, and service information in E-Maint.
• Notify the shop of potential issues identified during inspections or servicing.
• Check all equipment/asset stickers and coordinate replacements for missing or faded stickers, including installation.
• Perform both emergency and corrective action repairs.

EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years of Diesel and Farm Equipment Maintenance experience required.
• Must have basic mechanical knowledge and be willing to learn and follow B&W procedures and guidelines.
• Must possess a valid and clean driver's license.
