This role ensures that apartments, common areas, and building systems are well-maintained and that service requests are completed promptly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce equipment failures and extend asset life Prepare vacant units for new residents (turnovers), including painting, cleaning, and repairs Inspect buildings and grounds to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs Maintain and repair common areas such as hallways, pools, laundry rooms, and landscaping features Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used Assist with emergency maintenance situations (may require on-call availability) Qualifications Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field
Knowledge of:
HVAC systems with 2 to 5 years of hands on experience diagnosing and making repairs Plumbing systems Electrical systems Carpentry and appliance repair Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Work Environment Residential apartment communities Exposure to maintenance tools, chemicals, and outdoor conditions May require evening, weekend, or on-call workPay:
