In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities through comprehensive maintenance and repair activities. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. Repair or replace electrical components, wiring, switches, outlets, and electrical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct HVAC system repairs such as filter replacements, duct cleaning, thermostat calibration, and troubleshooting to maintain climate control. Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and Ohmmeters to diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently. Maintain building interior by performing carpentry tasks, painting (including residential painting), maintenance painting, and general facility beautification efforts. Oversee plumbing system maintenance including leak repairs, pipe replacements, drain cleaning, and fixture repairs to ensure plumbing integrity Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper documentation of all maintenance activities; respond promptly to emergency repair requests. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance with knowledge of electrical work, plumbing systems, HVAC repair, mechanical systems, carpentry, welding, and building interior maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting devices like Ohmmeters. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; capable of providing clear instructions or reports. Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods. Valid certifications related to electrical work or HVAC systems are desirable; experience with maintenance painting and carpentry is preferred.
Pay:
$19.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
