$18.00 Hourly Job Summary Responsible for the upkeep, repair, and safety of all Club facilities and equipment. Plan, implement, and oversee maintenance schedules, respond to repair needs, and ensure that all physical spaces—including buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems—are clean, functional, and safe for youth, staff, and visitors. Support the mission of the organization by creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment that reflects care, pride, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Work in conjunction with the Facilities Manager to plan and oversee the administration of maintenance and repair services that support safe, clean, and functional Club environments. Facility Maintenance and Repairs Establish and maintain maintenance schedules that ensure the health and safety of members and staff. Ensure that all equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and structural components are maintained and in good working condition. Work with Facilities Manager to evaluate facility needs and prioritize repairs and upgrades. Generate detailed and thoughtful maintenance plans for the Club, incorporating seasonal needs and long-term improvements. Communicate with vendors and contractors. Control maintenance expenditures within the approved budget. Ensure that all tools and supplies are properly stored, inventoried, and maintained. Supervision Monitor and support maintenance needs for staff, providing ongoing feedback and regular appraisal. Oversee proper record keeping and reporting, including maintenance logs, repair requests, vendor visits, and safety inspections. Ensure productive and effective performance of equipment. Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred. A minimum of three years of work experience in facility maintenance, building systems, or custodial services. Considerable knowledge of building systems, safety protocols, and repair techniques. Strong communication skills, both oral and written; ability to speak effectively with vendors and staff. Ability to manage multiple tasks and develop solutions to problems with limited supervision. Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities. Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole is a strong plus.
