Job Description
Last Key Realty is a local Luxury Vacation Rental Company in Key West, Florida, looking for versatile & handy professionals to join our team. We represent privately owned vacation homes located in the lower Florida Keys with a primary focus to provide luxury accommodations for our guests to enjoy during their stay. The ideal candidate will be an experienced maintenance person with skills including but not limited to:
- Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance.
- Light carpentry and miscellaneous home repairs.
- Ability to communicate clearly and directly with colleagues, vendors and homeowners.
- Organize and prioritize an ever-changing schedule between an ongoing to-do list and emergency/urgent repairs.
- Process and manage daily work orders, emergencies, as well as ongoing projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Respond to work order requests and resolve or help to resolve by diagnosing issues in vacation homes and will follow through with an issue until it is fixed, even if that requires calling for additional outside resources.
- Communication with Guest Services Coordinators regarding progress of issue resolution and provide assistance toward solutions for properties with guests in residence.
- Perform property quality assurance reviews periodically and address areas of improvement for luxury vacation rental homes.
- Address after hours emergency maintenance tasks on a rotating basis Administrative responsibilities:
- Documenting work orders and tracking time and materials.
- Organizing and filing purchase receipts.
- Working with accounting to designate billable hours.
- Communication/follow up with other staff and homeowners.
Physical Demands:
Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, climbs ladders, and moves continually during working hours. Subject to lifting over 50 pounds.Last Key benefits package includes:

Other Info:
Clean driving record required. English speaking and writing capabilities required. Hiring locally only. The weekly schedule is Thursday-Monday with hours between 8AM-5PM and rotating after hours Emergency Response availability. Last Key is a participant in E-verify for employment authorization.
