Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various building systems, ensuring guest safety and comfort, and supporting the overall functionality of the property. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot a range of issues efficiently. Duties Perform light plumbing repairs and maintenance to ensure proper operation of water systems throughout the hotel. Conduct basic electrical work, including troubleshooting electrical issues and maintaining electrical systems in guest rooms, public areas, and facilities. Maintain and service facilities equipment such as HVAC units, elevators, and other mechanical systems. must have a working knowledge of guestroom PTAC units . Oversee building interior maintenance, including repairs to walls, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures to uphold aesthetic standards. Manage electronic door lock systems, ensuring security features are functional and up-to-date. Maintain knowledge of swimming pool equipment and safety standards, performing routine inspections and repairs as needed. Understand and support the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to prolong equipment lifespan and minimize downtime. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or guests, prioritizing safety and guest satisfaction. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for future reference. Requirements Proven experience in plumbing, electrical work, or general facilities maintenance within a hospitality or similar environment. Knowledge of building interior maintenance techniques. Familiarity with electronic door lock systems and swimming pool equipment is preferred. Ability to understand and follow a structured preventative maintenance program. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot diverse mechanical and electrical issues. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks effectively. Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
