HOTEL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN EVEN

Hotel & Fairfield Hotel | Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota, FL R. Zieg Hospitality | Full-Time R. Zieg Hospitality is seeking a dependable, hands-on Hotel Maintenance Technician to support EVEN Hotel and Fairfield Hotel, keeping both properties safe, attractive, and operating smoothly. This hourly position performs routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and guest-room maintenance while providing prompt, courteous service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete routine maintenance and repairs throughout both hotels. Respond promptly and professionally to guestroom maintenance requests. Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general repairs. Complete preventive maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse spaces. Inspect rooms, equipment, and hotel areas for maintenance needs. Repair furniture, fixtures, doors, locks, lighting, and hotel equipment as assigned. Keep maintenance work areas, tools, and supplies clean and organized. Assist with hotel improvement and renovationrelated projects as needed. Follow hotel safety, security, brand, and company standards. Communicate maintenance concerns and completed work to hotel leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous maintenance experience preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of building repairs, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is helpful. Able to troubleshoot and complete basic repairs independently. Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize daily work across both hotels. Professional and courteous when interacting with guests and coworkers. Able to lift, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform the physical duties of the position. Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays.
