Job Description

Summary The Maintenance Technician can identify and diagnose problems quickly and perform the necessary steps to correct the problem. This person has diverse and strong maintenance skills, great customer service, and strong verbal communication skills. Essential Functions Conduct routine general maintenance procedures at property(ies). Diagnose & perform minor and routine maintenance/repair in a timely and professional manner. Pick up debris around community. Responsible for maintaining equipment in good working order. Assists with other assigned projects. Non-essential duties include other job-related duties as assigned. Basic skill sets for general upkeep of property(ies), including, but not limited to: Painting Basic Plumbing Pressure washing Basic electrical knowledge, for light, ballast, and plug change outs Basic irrigation system knowledge Light wood working Drywall repairs Education Required
  • High School Diploma or GED. Experience Required

  • 2 years Job Skills Ability to enforce rules, regulations and policies with tact, firmness, and to resolve problems or concerns.
Ability to deal with people effectively, courteously, and enthusiastically. Must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to establish and maintain good customer relations. Ability to establish and maintain effective and congenial working relationships with other employees. Ability to understand and follow simple, oral, and written instructions, and to communicate clearly and concisely. Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously Ability to learn new tasks. Sufficient physical strength and agility to perform assigned tasks. Ability to comply with flexible work schedules. Supervisory Responsibilities
  • N/A Work Environment Must be able to perform repetitive body mechanics, including but not limited to, climbing a ladder, standing, stretching, twisting, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
