The Plantation at Leesburg, Leesburg, Florida Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, upkeep, and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role involves troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting smooth daily operations to minimize downtime and maintain safety hazards. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform minor and routine maintenance and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, on all buildings and grounds repairs.
  • Maintain assigned equipment in good working conditions.
  • Preform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
  • Operate a variety of machinery and equipment in safely manner.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of general maintenance experience in building trades, repair and / or maintenance work. Experience in pool maintenance is strongly preferred. Knowledge of basic tool operations. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and handle sensitive matters with discretion. Valid driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation required. Physical Requirements Ability to walk and visually inspect properties throughout the community in varying weather conditions. Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally in the performance of duties. Employment Type Full-time Salary Hourly range: 18.00 - 19.00
