Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Window and Door Installer, where your expertise will transform spaces by installing high-quality windows and doors that enhance both functionality and aesthetics. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your skills in carpentry, glass installation, and fabrication. As a vital member of our installation crew, you'll ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, contributing to the comfort and security of our clients' homes and businesses. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and assemble window and door units according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications Install windows and doors with precision using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate placement and fitment Perform heavy lifting of window frames, doors, glass panels, and related materials safely and efficiently Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and construction painting to finish installations seamlessly Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on window or door installation Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, hammers, and screwdrivers; proficient with power tools for fabrication and assembly Strong knowledge of glass installation techniques and caulking for weatherproofing Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Experience with metal stud framing, trim carpentry, fixture installation, remodeling projects, and handyman tasks is highly desirable Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety protocols Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in fabrication and manufacturing tasks Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship.
