Competitive benefits package, annual tool allowance, and stable full-time employment Job Summary We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to assist with the maintenance and repair of a large commercial/warehouse facility. This position is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience who has knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, dock equipment, and building systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, basic repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting while working alongside experienced facility technicians. Responsibilities Perform general building and facility maintenance and repairs Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems Assist with electrical repairs, controls, and high/low-voltage systems Perform minor plumbing, mechanical, and welding repairs as needed Inspect and maintain dock doors, dock levelers, truck restraints, seals, and shelters Assist with maintenance of automated storage/retrieval equipment Perform basic repairs to racking, concrete, asphalt, roofing, lighting, and other facility components Troubleshoot equipment and facility maintenance issues Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed Maintain accurate work orders and preventative maintenance records in a CMMS Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition Follow OSHA requirements and all company safety procedures Participate in an on-call rotation as required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Facility maintenance or technical school training preferred Previous facility, industrial, warehouse, or mechanical maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general building maintenance Ability to read and understand technical procedures and safety requirements Valid driver's license Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and machinery Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
