Position:
Parks Maintenance Technician Location:
Central Brevard County (Cocoa, Rockledge, Merritt Island)
Status:
Full-Time Pay Rate:
$17.52/hour
Schedule:
Two Shifts Available 6:30 AM
  • 3:00 PM Tuesday
  • Saturday or Sunday

Role:
Join our team and help maintain the stunning parks and outdoor spaces of Florida's Space Coast. As a Parks Maintenance Technician, you'll support the upkeep of grounds, facilities, and public spaces to ensure our parks remain safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general care and maintenance of park buildings, grounds, and facilities Cut and edge grass, operate hand and power tools Sweep walkways, remove trash and refuse, and clean facilities including restrooms, picnic, and camping areas Assist with skilled trades such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic repairs or installations Load and unload heavy materials and equipment Carry out additional related duties as needed
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 3 months combined experience in grounds and building maintenance Experience with mechanical or equipment repair preferred
Requirements:
