Marriott is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to keep hotel facilities safe, efficient, and guest-ready. In this on-site role, you'll perform scheduled inspections, routine servicing, and minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. You'll respond to maintenance requests, document work orders, and follow safety and brand standards. Working closely with engineering and operations teams, you'll help minimize downtime, protect assets, and support an excellent guest experience while developing long-term skills in hospitality facilities maintenance. Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces Complete work orders and document all maintenance activities in the system Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to reduce equipment downtime Follow Marriott safety, cleanliness, and brand standards during all tasks Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to prioritize repairs Monitor building systems and report potential issues before failures occur Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in safe working condition Support emergency response for maintenance-related issues Communicate effectively with hotel staff to minimize impact on guests Required Skills Preventative maintenance scheduling HVAC servicing Basic electrical repair Plumbing repair Equipment troubleshooting Building systems inspection Safety and OSHA compliance Use of hand and power tools Work order and CMMS systems Reading technical manuals and schematics
