A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.
Job Summary Maintenance Technician We are looking for someone with strong hands-on mechanical experience who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance, automotive repair, diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7am to 5pm (No Weekend Work)
Starting Rate:
$23+ per hour / Depending on experience and technical skills.
Position:
Temp to Permanent, If everything works well and individual shows great attitude and good skill level
Key Qualifications & Experience We Are Looking For:
Team Work and Great Attitude is a Must 3+ years of experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, trouble shooting, industrial maintenance, or automotive repair Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience working with small diesel and gasoline engines Experience with hydraulic systems Basic to intermediate electrical troubleshooting and electrical circuits Ability to diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment Experience performing preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs Ability to inspect equipment and identify defects, damage, or malfunctions Experience with fabrication/shop equipment is a plus Ability to read and understand technical instructions, manuals, and schematics Basic computer skills, including email and entering service/repair information Ability to research and locate replacement parts through local vendors or online vendor websites Strong attention to quality and detail Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player Dependable, safety-minded, and able to meet deadlines Comfortable with hands-on work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, climbing, and working around equipment
Preferred Experience:
