Job Description

Pool Repair Tech needed. Must be proficient with PVC plumbing. Installation of pool Pumps, Filters, Salt Systems, etc. Must have a clean drivers license. Must be able to work outdoors with little supervision. This position reports to the Pool Service Manager and is responsible for repairing, and installing pool equipment.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or general education degree (GED) required. This job requires high standards relating to the work performed and the image represented. Job success is determined by customer satisfaction, and good customer relations. Pool service technicians must be able to communicate politely and complete all work in a timely and accurate manner. The associate must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions, as long as it is safe. Must be a licensed driver in the State of Florida with a clean driving record. Must comply strictly to all road signs, driving rules and regulations, and be noted for safe and courteous driving habits while operating company vehicles. Clean background check and drug test required. •Experience in pool equipment installation is a plus! To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: Follow up and secure new maintenance accounts using an assigned pick-up truck, pool cleaning equipment, pool chemicals provided by the employer. The technician will diagnose, repair, and install pool equipment. Completely review paperwork and records. Monitor and control individual inventory. Learn different pool systems and operations. Learn proper pool maintenance procedures. The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: This position requires the technician to be 18 years of age or older, have a high degree of stamina for physical labor, with the ability to work in high degrees of heat and adverse weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and often. The associate must be able to stand, bend, stoop, stretch and climb repetitively and often. The associate must have a clean Florid Driver's License and be able to operate a motor vehicle and have the ability to work around chlorine without an allergic reaction.
