Job Description

Description:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including machinery, HVAC systems, and electrical systems. Develop and implement maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations and operational needs. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues before they lead to failures, utilizing a systematic approach to problem-solving. Conduct tests and measurements to evaluate equipment performance and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs and inventory management, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, implementing best practices to maintain a safe work environment. Assist other technicians with maintenance activities as directed. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance practices. Requirements:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Proven aptitude for preventive maintenance or industrial maintenance roles. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and CMMS. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or vocational training or a related field preferred Typical Physical and Mental Demands/Work Environment Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing facility. May involve working under deadlines.

Typical tools, equipment and machinery utilized include saws (table, panel and radial arm), routers, grinder, manual and power hand tools, micrometers, tape measures, scales, air hoses, calculator, computer, overhead vacuum lift, computers and accessories, applicable computer programs and software, printers and copiers, telecommunication equipment, and general office supplies. Position requires full shifts in an environment with extreme temperatures exceeding 100? in summer months.
