General Maintenance Tech Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs. Perform general maintenance tasks. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure their optimal functionality. Conduct regular inspections of systems, identify potential issues, and repair or replace faulty components. Skilled trades preferred. General skills with regard to framing, handling drywall, working on ceiling grids, light fixture swaps and troubleshooting required. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from Maintenance Director, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with other maintenance workers or contractors as necessary to complete complex tasks or projects. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees and visitors. Other general maintenance tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Certification in a relevant trade or maintenance field (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC) is desirable but not mandatory. Prior experience in a similar maintenance role is preferred.
