Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM (2nd Shift) We are currently looking for a dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Ocala, FL manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will possess robust electrical troubleshooting capabilities and experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) during our afternoon shift. Your primary objective is to ensure optimal production uptime. You will achieve this by maintaining power systems, electric motors, and automated equipment, as well as inspecting control cabinets, monitoring PLC signals, and diagnosing electrical malfunctions. Core Duties Execute electrical diagnostics on automated equipment to help minimize downtime and ensure consistent production flow. Maintain and repair 480V 3-phase power systems, including transformers, VFDs, motor controls, relays, and various industrial sensors. Perform both corrective and preventative maintenance on hydraulic and mechanical components such as pumps, gearboxes, conveyor systems, and pneumatic hardware. Utilize technical manuals, single-line diagrams, and electrical wiring schematics to guide repair and installation processes. Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks to improve equipment longevity and prevent unexpected operational failures. Promote a secure workplace by strictly adhering to OSHA guidelines, Arc Flash safety procedures, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements. Ideal Qualifications Between two and four years of direct experience performing industrial maintenance within a production or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using amp clamps and digital multimeters to safely evaluate high-voltage lines and live control circuits. Demonstrated ability to interpret ladder logic and navigate PLC software to pinpoint system errors. Completion of formal trade school education, an electrical certification, or an Industrial Maintenance program is considered a significant advantage.
