Job DescriptionDCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a Highway Maintenance Technician to conduct a variety of Highway Maintenance Services, as well as other related tasks under close supervision. We are seeking a qualified applicant that will train in Highway/Roadway Routine Maintenance.
Mowing, and clearing brush from roadsides.
Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
Assist in storm cleanup.
Fence and sign repair. Litter/debris removal.
Emergency response.
Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
Able to work in adverse weather conditions.
Able to lift moderately heavy objects.
Be able to bend, climb, stand, stoop, or walk for long periods of time.
Accurate eye-hand coordination.
Ability to adapt to changing situations with work plans and work schedules due to workload or season display.

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.EXPERIENCE
