Maintenance Technician - Condominium Association La Palma Condominium Palm Beach, FL Job Details Full-time $23 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Teamwork Residential painting Construction painting Driver's License Organizational skills Full Job Description Our Condominium Association is seeking a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our property maintenance team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable handling a variety of day-to-day maintenance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple trades and be willing to learn additional building systems and skills. This position will work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and General Manager and will assist with maintaining the property, completing work orders, preventative maintenance, repairs, and ongoing improvement projects. There is opportunity for growth for the right individual who demonstrates reliability, initiative, strong workmanship, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance and preventative maintenance throughout the condominium property Complete and track assigned work orders in a timely manner Accurately document completed jobs, repairs, and materials used Assist with basic A/C and HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting Assist with pool, pump, mechanical, and plumbing-related maintenance Perform drywall removal, replacement, patching, and repair (as needed) Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-ups Pressure wash common areas and exterior surfaces Complete basic carpentry, hardware, fixture, and general building repairs Maintain clean and organized common areas, maintenance rooms, workshops, tools, and storage areas Assist with inventory and tracking of maintenance supplies and materials Identify maintenance concerns and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor Assist contractors and vendors working on the property when needed Maintain clean, safe, and presentable common areas Follow established safety procedures and Association policies Take direction from the Maintenance Supervisor and work cooperatively with management, front desk staff, vendors, and fellow employees Assist with other property-related projects and duties as assigned Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in building, condominium, apartment, hotel, facilities, or property maintenance General knowledge of several trades, including HVAC/A/C, pumps, pools, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general repairs Ability to use common hand and power tools safely Strong organizational skills Ability to keep accurate records of work performed and materials used Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine when an issue should be escalated Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments independently Strong teamwork and communication skills Professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with residents Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to perform physical maintenance work, including lifting, bending, standing, climbing ladders, and working outdoors Valid driver's license preferred What We Are Looking For We are especially interested in someone who is dependable, organized, hardworking, and willing to learn . You do not need to be an expert in every trade, but you should have solid general maintenance experience and the ability to learn new systems and procedures.
