Job Description
Job description: Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Hospitality Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and well-maintained environment throughout their stay. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of technical skills to address a broad range of maintenance issues that may arise. You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your expertise will help us maintain our high standards of quality and service that guests have come to expect. As a vital member of our Team, you will collaborate with various departments to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, contributing positively to the overall guest experience. Your role will also involve responding to emergency maintenance requests and developing solutions to prevent future incidents. We are looking for someone who is proactive, has a strong work ethic, and can work both independently and as part of a Team to uphold the hotel's image and ensure guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance services and emergency repairs.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies needed for maintenance work..
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including repairs and preventive maintenance tasks. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred. . CPO (Certified Pool Operator Certificate) Required
- Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and Team Members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
