Job Description

Job Summary Join our Maintenance TEAM! We are seeking a Condominium Maintenance Technician for a mid-rise condominium association. This position is a full-time 40-hour, permeant year-round position. Must have basic knowledge of general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and light HVAC. The Condominium Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that common areas, pools, individual owner units, and vacation rental properties are well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for owners and guests. This crucial role focuses on routine maintenance, prompt repairs, and excellent owner/guest service, ultimately contributing to positive owner and guest experiences. Duties include-
Pool Maintenance:
Maintain & Clean Pools and Hot tub: Skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing & cleaning pool surfaces
Water Chemistry:
Testing and adjusting pool water pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels to maintain safe and healthy water quality
Safety:
Ensuring pool areas are safe and free of hazards, including proper signage and equipment operation
General Maintenance:
Inspect and address issues related to lighting, locks, TV's, furniture, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, etc. Perform manual repairs (install keyless entry locks, replace batteries, replace light bulbs, clear drains and garbage disposals, troubleshoot appliance issues and schedule repairs when needed, painting, etc.) Diagnose & Repair light plumbing issues: sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers. Assist owners and vacationing guest with maintenance related problems as they arise
Qualifications:
Basic handy-man skills required: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and light HVAC. Pool cleaning experience required. Superior multitasking, decision-making, and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus! Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and Holidays as needed Valid driver license, proof of current insurance and vehicle registration MUST be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
COMPENSATION
Hourly Rate:
