BOTH DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS
to work at a fast moving Cable manufacturing company in Milton, FL. Our company is fast expanding, future looking, and a continuous innovator across the energy market. We provide integral components for solar and wind farm development as well as electrical cabling for key industrial markets including the Oil & Gas, Communications and Irrigation markets. We truly believe that our company is a rewarding career destination.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Routine Inspections AND Maintenance- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they lead to failures. Lubricate, clean, and calibrate machines as required to maintain proper functioning. Troubleshooting & Repair
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in machinery. Repair or replace faulty parts, components, and systems. Work with electrical circuits, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to perform repairs. Machine Installation & Setup
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery or systems. Set up and adjust machinery for specific production requirements, ensuring optimal performance. Record Keeping & Documentation
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep records of inspections and repairs. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment. Comply with environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations. Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with operators and production staff to understand machine issues and prevent potential downtime. Provide training and guidance to machine operators on proper equipment handling and maintenance practices. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for improvements in machine performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent (required) . Technical certification in Machine Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a machine maintenance technician or in a similar role (typically 2+ years).SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems. Familiarity with PLCs, CNC machines, and industrial automation. Ability to work with power tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair tools. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in maintenance.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
To ensure a safe work environment while meeting the physical demands of the job, you must be able to perform the following physical and mental tasks, with or without a reasonable accommodation: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.). PAY:
Starts at: $18/hr.- $25/hr.
SCHEDULE
Full-Time Day Shift = 7:30am- 7:30pm Night Shift
- Expect to work
AT LEAST 60
hours a week- (ALL hours over 40-hrs. will be paid at Time-and-a-half) TEL Staffing complies with regulations enforced by the EEOC. This position is Temp to Hire. No benefits are offered during the Temp period.
