Hotel Maintenance Technician Mainstay Suites - Port St Lucie, FL is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel, responding to maintenance requests, and assisting the housekeeping department to ensure an excellent guest experience. Job Responsibilities Repair and troubleshoot toilets and other plumbing fixtures. Unclog sinks, bathtubs, and drains. Repair and maintain PTAC (hotel air conditioning/heating) units. Replace bathtub faucets and other bathroom fixtures. Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the hotel. Collect and dispose of trash from all hotel areas on a daily basis. Assist the housekeeping team with moving furniture, cleaning projects, and other operational needs. Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from the front desk and housekeeping staff. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with hotel standards. Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC/PTAC units, and general repairs. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
