In this role, you'll focus on inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing diverse packaging and automation equipment while maintaining a safe, high-quality environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Equipment Repair & Troubleshooting:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical packaging machinery across the facility.

Control Systems:

Utilize your basic PLC, HMI, and AC/DC motor drive knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues or coordinate with external programmers.

CMMS Management:

Use Upkeep (our CMMS system) to track preventive maintenance (PMs), work orders, repairs, and spare parts inventory.

Safety & Compliance:

Maintain strict adherence to site Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and OSHA safety standards.

Team Collaboration:

Work independently and alongside team members to complete tasks assigned by supervisory staff while reporting system defects promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

3+ years in industrial maintenance

Electrical/Mechanical:

Proficient with multi-phase systems (24VDC to 480VAC 3-phase)

Packaging Equipment:

Experience with conveyors, case sealers, wrappers, tunnels, printers, and balers

Education:

High School Diploma/GED, ability to perform physical labor (standing, bending, lifting) PERKS Competitive Pay $27

3+ years in Industrial Maintenance Must have experience in a multiphase fast paced production operation Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical equipment Experience with multi phases of electricity from 24VDC up to 480VAC 3-phase Experience with as many of the following types of equipment as possible: case sealers, and erectors, (Tape or Glue), powered conveyors, tray wrappers, flow wraps, conventional heat tunnels, Steam tunnels, vertical sleeve machines, clam shell rotary tables, printers, Horizontal, and Vertical balers, weigh scales, single pallet wrappers, fully automated pallet wrappers Knowledge of HMIs, AC, DC motor drives, and PLCs to do basic trouble shooting or coordinate with external programmer when necessary Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines Ability to use efficiently and safely of various power, hand tools, and all testing equipment Ability to operate a forklift Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time Ability to read and understand schematics and/or equipment drawings Regular inspection, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and mechanical production equipment Detecting malfunctions/defects in electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment Ability to use Upkeep our CMMS System for tracking PM's, Work orders, repairs, and parts inventory Other duties as assigned The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 10 hours at one timeworking weekendsSkillsMechanical MaintenanceElectronic MaintenanceMaintenanceElectricalPlumbingGeneral MaintenanceBlueprint ReadingQualificationsYears of experience: 3 yearsExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
