Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections to ensure that our properties are well-maintained and meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical skill set, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical system inspections. Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
Repairs and Troubleshooting:
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers. Diagnose and repair issues related to appliances, fixtures, and other property components.
Emergency Response:
Be available for on-call duties to address emergency maintenance issues outside of regular business hours. Implement timely and effective solutions to minimize property damage.
Groundskeeping:
Maintain the exterior of properties, including landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal as needed. Ensure a clean and well-kept appearance of the property grounds.
Vendor Coordination:
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services. Obtain quotes for repairs and services as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections. Provide regular updates to the Maintenance Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance is a plus. Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in single-family housing. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general property maintenance. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

$46,000. - $55,000. per year
