This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Travel between properties in our Tampa/St. Petersburg/Sarasota portfolio (mileage will be paid) Communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service with our team and with residents. Be punctual, remain organized, and work efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using AppFolio Property Manager. Skills Excellent attitude and willingness to continue learning and work well with team members. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various equipment, most notably air handlers, condensers, plumbing fixtures and systems, and appliances. Proficient in electrical experience, including troubleshooting circuits and using a multimeter. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and procedures. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Customer service-oriented mindset to ensure satisfaction among residents and staff. Desire to grow into leadership roles within the company is a plus.
