Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Full-time Facility Maintenance Technician for two residential condominiums. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who works independently, takes initiative, and requires minimal supervision. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the buildings and its systems. This individual will be punctual and have reliable transportation. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance Diagnose and repair building issues promptly and efficiently Conduct regular inspections of common areas, mechanical rooms, and exterior spaces Respond to maintenance requests and emergency situations as needed Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized work is required Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and condominium policies Proactively identify issues and recommend improvements or preventative solutions Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of facility or building maintenance experience, preferably in a residential setting Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems Proven ability to work independently with little direction Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents, management, and vendors Must be reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Preferred Certifications (Not Required) Trade certifications (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or similar) OSHA or safety training certifications Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work in confined spaces What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid holidays Paid Time Off Health Care, Dental and Vision options Stable, long-term employment Supportive management team
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
