of: Electric Plumbing HVAC Wall texture and Painting work General Repair Work We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping our guest rooms, public areas, and building systems operating smoothly. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently.
Responsibilities Guest Room & Facility Upkeep:
Respond promptly to guest room maintenance calls (plumbing issues, TV/AC troubleshooting, lock repairs, and lighting) with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance across guest rooms, common areas, HVAC/PTAC units, and pool or amenity spaces.
General Repairs & Trades:
Handle everyday basic repairs across electrical systems (light fixtures, outlets, switches), plumbing (faucets, drains, toilets), and general hardware.
Drywall & Painting:
Perform cosmetic touch-ups, drywall repairs, wall texturing, and interior/exterior painting to maintain property standards.
Work Order Tracking:
Log, update, and complete daily work orders and preventive maintenance tasks accurately using Quore .
Vendor & Project Coordination:
Assist in overseeing external contractors during major repairs or facility projects, ensuring work areas remain clean and safety protocols are followed.
Safety & Compliance:
Inspect emergency exits, lighting, and safety equipment regularly to ensure compliance with local regulations and hotel standards. Skills Hands on experience in Hotel or other commercial maintenance experience Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Proficiency in electrical systems and components Familiarity with tracking maintenance activities and schedules. Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices across various trades.
