Scope of Responsibilities:

Within the spirit of "Making People's Dreams Come True", the responsibility of this position is to support the maintenance operations of The Brownwood Hotel & Spa by assisting with a wide range of general maintenance functions. This position is also responsible for delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician , you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This position requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. General maintenance experience required and prior hospitality experience is a plus. Qualified candidates must have outstanding customer service skills to be considered for the position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing plumbing and electrical systems, painting, and carpentry work in guest rooms, public areas, and maintenance spaces. Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen equipment (both hot & cold side, including fryers, ovens, refrigeration, and dish machines). Respond to maintenance requests, or emergency calls from staff and guests in a timely manner by troubleshooting issues efficiently. Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed and materials used and communicate effectively with the team. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace cleanliness. Assist in fire/life safety system monitoring and energy conservation efforts. Conduct regular inspections of the hotel and restaurant to identify any maintenance issues and address them promptly.

Educational Experience & Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Commercial Kitchen Experience Preferred. Certification in a relevant field is a plus. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role. Solid knowledge of maintenance procedures and systems, including electrical and plumbing. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues (unclog drains, repair leaks, and maintain fixtures). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
