Overview Join our dynamic team as a Swimming Pool Service Technician and Cleaner, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring pristine, safe, and well-maintained swimming environments. Your expertise will help keep pools sparkling clean, equipment functioning smoothly, and systems operating efficiently, making a real difference in customers' enjoyment and safety. Duties Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain optimal water quality. Conduct regular pool maintenance checks such as testing water chemistry levels and adjusting chemicals to ensure safety standards are met. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform minor repairs or coordinate repairs with specialists when necessary. Use hand tools and power tools to repair or replace pool components, ensuring all equipment operates at peak performance. Maintain detailed service logs of completed work, chemical treatments, and equipment repairs for each client. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by explaining maintenance procedures and answering client questions professionally. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment effectively. Experience with pool maintenance tasks including chemical balancing, cleaning techniques, and system inspections. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and installations. Knowledge of pool cleaning procedures and equipment operation to ensure thorough servicing. Service technician experience preferred; ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement solutions efficiently. Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks accurately while adhering to safety standards. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members professionally.
