On-site at project locations throughout Florida We are a residential construction and development company seeking an experienced Handyman to support construction, repairs, maintenance, and finish work. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or alongside a construction team. This position requires your own reliable vehicle, basic tools, and availability to travel between project sites, including Stuart and Port Charlotte. Responsibilities Perform general repairs involving drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical work. Install baseboards, trim, doors, windows, cabinets, locks, faucets, and other fixtures. Complete finish work, final adjustments, and punch-list items before property delivery. Address minor post-construction and warranty repairs. Support construction activities, including site preparation, cleanup, material movement, and preliminary installations. Report progress, pending tasks, and material needs to project supervisors. Keep tools and work areas organized and follow workplace safety procedures. Perform other duties related to the role as assigned by the supervisor based on project needs. Requirements Minimum two years of relevant handyman, construction, or maintenance experience. Practical knowledge of drywall, painting, carpentry, and general plumbing and electrical repairs. Experience installing baseboards, trim, doors, and windows. Own a reliable vehicle and basic tools needed for assigned tasks. Availability to travel between project sites throughout Florida. Ability to work with minimal supervision, follow schedules, and communicate clearly with the team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Compensation $23-$28 per hour, based on experience and the quantity and type of tools you have available to perform the work.
